1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Workplace.hr ("the Service"), operated by Converge Software d.o.o., a company registered in Zagreb, Croatia ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Workplace.hr is a business administration and HR software platform designed for EU small companies. The Service provides modules for employee management, contracts, payroll, time-off tracking, document management, and related business operations.
The full platform is scheduled to launch in July 2026. Prior to launch, certain features are available in preview or waitlist mode.
3. Free Tools
We offer certain tools free of charge and without requiring an account, including:
- Salary calculator
- Holiday optimizer
Free tools are provided "as is" for informational purposes only. Salary calculations and other outputs are estimates and should not be relied upon as professional tax, legal, or financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional for definitive guidance.
4. Account Terms
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any other harmful technology.
- Use the Service to store or transmit content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without our written consent.
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service.
6. Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscription plans will be available starting July 2026. A free plan is available with capability-based pricing (not per-seat) for additional features.
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected.
- All prices are in EUR and exclude applicable VAT, which will be added where required.
- Payment is due at the beginning of each billing period.
Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Changes to Pricing
We may change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will apply from the next billing period after the notice period.
7. Your Data
You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service ("Your Data"). We do not claim ownership of Your Data. Our use of Your Data is governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Data Processing Agreement.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit any data you upload to the Service, including any personal data of your employees or contractors.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of Converge Software d.o.o. and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.
9. Availability and Support
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- Our total aggregate liability arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Converge Software d.o.o. and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
- We will retain or delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Zagreb, Croatia.
For consumers within the EU, this clause does not affect your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, nor does it affect your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement — These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and DPA, constitute the entire agreement between you and Converge Software d.o.o.
- Severability — If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
- Waiver — Failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
- Assignment — You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.
