Public holidays in Belgium
Belgium has 10 official public holidays. These include New Year's Day, Easter Monday, Labour Day, Ascension Day, Whit Monday, National Day (July 21), Assumption Day, All Saints' Day, Armistice Day (November 11), and Christmas Day. Employees are entitled to 20 paid vacation days per year for a full-time role. If a public holiday falls on a weekend, it is typically compensated with a substitute day.
