Non-taxable benefits in Croatia
Croatian employers can provide several non-taxable benefits. Meal allowances up to €600/year (or €6,000 if paid through specialized providers), transportation allowances based on distance, and holiday bonuses (regres) up to €3,000/year are common tax-exempt options. Gifts for children up to €133/year and one-time awards up to €1,000 are also non-taxable. Remote work allowances and professional development support offer additional optimization opportunities.
