Public holidays in Denmark
Denmark has 11 public holidays, including New Year's Day, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Monday, Great Prayer Day (Store Bededag — though recently abolished, check current year), Ascension Day, Whit Sunday and Monday, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day. The standard vacation entitlement is 25 days (5 weeks) per year under the Danish Holiday Act.
