Non-taxable benefits in Denmark
Danish employers can offer tax-free benefits including free phone, internet, and computer for work use, health insurance (sundhedsforsikring), public transport passes, bicycle allowances, and canteen schemes. A unique Danish benefit is the "free lunch" provision — employer-provided meals are taxed at a very favorable rate. Employer pension contributions above the mandatory minimum are common and tax-efficient.
