Public holidays in France
France has 11 public holidays: New Year's Day, Easter Monday, Labour Day (May 1), Victory in Europe Day (May 8), Ascension Day, Whit Monday, Bastille Day (July 14), Assumption Day, All Saints' Day, Armistice Day (November 11), and Christmas Day. In Alsace-Moselle, Good Friday and Boxing Day are additional holidays. The statutory minimum vacation is 25 working days per year (5 weeks), though many companies offer more through collective agreements.
