Public holidays in Greece
Greece has 12 official public holidays: New Year's Day, Epiphany (January 6), Clean Monday (start of Lent — movable), Independence Day (March 25), Good Friday and Easter Monday (Orthodox calendar), Labour Day, Whit Monday (Orthodox), Assumption Day (August 15), Ochi Day (October 28), Christmas Day, and Boxing Day. The standard annual leave entitlement starts at 20 working days and increases to 25 days after 10 years with the same employer.
