Public holidays in Romania
Romania has 15 public holidays — the most in the EU: New Year's Day (January 1-2), Day of the Union (January 24), Orthodox Good Friday and Easter (Sunday and Monday), Labour Day, Children's Day (June 1), Orthodox Whit Sunday and Monday, Assumption Day (August 15), St. Andrew's Day (November 30), National Day (December 1), Christmas (December 25-26). Employees are entitled to a minimum of 20 working days of annual leave.
