Free plan

What you get

The Free plan gives you three core modules — Team Directory, Documents, and Email interface — with no time limit, no trial period, and no feature that suddenly locks after 14 days. Free means free. You can use it for as long as you want.

Team Directory — add up to 10 people. Employees, contractors, freelancers, suppliers — anyone your business works with. Each person gets a profile with contact info, role, reporting line, and linked documents. You see your team in one place instead of scattered across spreadsheets, email threads, and sticky notes.

Documents — upload and store business documents up to 1 GB total. Invoices, receipts, certificates, ID copies, contracts — anything you need to keep. Documents are linked to people, so when you open someone's profile, their documents are right there. No digging through folders.

Email interface — every person on the Free plan can send emails to Workplace. Forward a receipt, send an invoice, email a signed contract — Workplace receives it and stores it. Each person can send up to 50 emails per day. That is more than enough for normal use, and it prevents abuse without getting in your way.

Limits

• Up to 10 people in your company team. If you grow beyond 10, you can upgrade to Pro or Business at any time.
• 1 GB document storage total across your entire workspace. That is roughly 2,000–5,000 documents depending on file sizes.
• 50 emails per person per day to the Workplace inbox. Each team member can forward up to 50 documents or messages per day.
• No auto-classification — documents are stored as-is. You organize them manually. Auto-classification and OCR extraction are available on the Pro plan.
• No contracts, time off, or asset tracking — these modules are available on the Business plan.

Your data is encrypted

Every document you upload, every email you send to Workplace, every piece of information in your team directory — it is encrypted. Not just in transit, not just at rest, but encrypted so that we cannot read it. We do not have access to your data. Our engineers cannot open your files. Our support team cannot browse your documents. The encryption keys are derived from your account, not from our infrastructure.

This is not a marketing statement. It is an architectural decision. We built the system so that accessing your data is not a policy we follow — it is a technical impossibility. There is no admin panel where someone at Workplace can look at your invoices. There is no database query that returns your employee records in plaintext. The data is yours. Only yours.

We will never sell, read, or access your data

We do not sell data. We do not share data with third parties. We do not use your data to train models, improve our product, run analytics, or build profiles. We do not read your documents, your emails, your team directory entries, or anything else you put into Workplace. We do not access your data for any reason, under any circumstance, in any form.

Our business model is software subscriptions. You pay for features (or use the Free plan). That is how we make money. Your data is not our product. You are not the product. We sell software, not information about your employees.

This applies to every plan — Free, Pro, and Business. There is no asterisk, no "except for anonymized analytics," no "we may share aggregated data." None of that. Your data stays encrypted, stays private, stays yours.

When you want to leave

If you decide Workplace is not for you, you can export everything. We generate a download link with all your data — documents, team directory entries, email history — packaged in a standard format. The export is encrypted with your key, so it remains private even during the download.

After you confirm you have your data, we delete everything from our servers. Not archive. Not soft-delete. Delete. We run a verification process to confirm the data has been removed from all storage systems, including backups. You get a confirmation when the deletion is complete.

There is no retention period where we "keep it just in case." There is no 90-day grace period where your data sits in limbo. You ask to leave, you get your data, we delete ours. That is the entire process.

GDPR by default

Workplace is built for EU companies, hosted in EU data centers, operated by an EU company. GDPR is not an add-on or a compliance checkbox — it is the foundation. Data minimization, purpose limitation, storage limitation, right to erasure — these are not features we had to bolt on. They are how the system works.

The Free plan gets the same GDPR compliance as the Business plan. Privacy is not a premium feature.
